SPIDER VEIN TREATMENT IN SARASOTA

 Spider vein sclerotherapy is performed in our Sarasota office. 

 During treatment, Dr. Hirsch carefully injects a sclerosing solution into selected spider veins using a very fine needle.

Treatment time varies depending on the number and extent of veins being treated.

Most patients are able to resume their normal daily activities following treatment, and walking is generally encouraged to promote healthy circulation.

Treated veins gradually fade as the body absorbs them. Some patients begin noticing improvement within the first few weeks, while larger or more stubborn veins may require additional treatments and more time to fade.

Other temporary changes around an injection site can also occur. Dr. Hirsch will review expected aftercare and what to watch for following your procedure.

Dr. Hirsch may recommend limiting sun exposure to treated areas following your procedure. You will receive specific aftercare instructions based on your treatment.

Wear or bring comfortable shorts that allow easy access to the treatment areas. Disposable shorts can also be provided if needed.
